The Story

The Chinese zodiac, or Shengxiao, is a repeating 12-year cycle of animal signs and ascribed attributes, based on the lunar calendar. Commemorative coin and medal sets featuring the twelve zodiac animals are extremely popular cultural items issued for Lunar New Year celebrations and as gifts symbolizing fortune and auspiciousness.
