When you create or use a Boxnook account, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, company, profile details, login information, and messages or offers you submit through the marketplace.

When you browse the site, we may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages or listings you view. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve Boxnook.

We use personal information to provide the Boxnook marketplace, authenticate accounts, communicate with collectors, process offers and purchases, maintain provenance and listing records, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.

We may use uploaded collectible photographs and listing information to research, describe, and curate assets. Information used for research is reviewed by a curator before publication.

If a curator connects an eBay seller account, Boxnook uses eBay OAuth to request the permissions needed to create and manage inventory listings. Boxnook stores encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens and eBay listing or offer identifiers so the integration can operate.

Boxnook does not receive or store your eBay password. eBay handles the sign-in and consent experience. You may revoke Boxnook's access through eBay or ask us to remove the connected eBay account data.

Boxnook is registered for eBay Marketplace Account Deletion notifications. When eBay notifies us that the connected account has been closed or deleted, we remove the stored eBay connection and associated eBay identifiers from Boxnook.

We share information only as needed to operate the service. Our service providers may process authentication, database and storage, email delivery, hosting, analytics, AI research, and marketplace integration data on our behalf.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or in connection with a transfer or restructuring of the business. We do not sell personal information.

We use access controls, row-level permissions, encrypted connections, and server-side protection for sensitive credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

We retain account, transaction, provenance, and listing records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain accurate marketplace history. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to those obligations.

You may review or update profile information from your account page. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting the Boxnook team through your account email. Some information may remain when retention is required for legal, security, accounting, or marketplace-record purposes.

You can stop receiving non-essential messages by using the instructions in the message. Essential service and security messages may still be sent while your account is active.
